LEGO PORTRAITS
Every 8th grade student created a portrait of themselves in the form of a Lego!
This lesson really honed in on individuality and personal invention.
For Fun: Some 8th grade teachers, administrators and staff also made a lego portrait..can you find theirs?
Lesson Objective...
Students created a
Lego version of themselves incorporating….
•personal elements to the portrait that represents their
style, hobbies etc.
• variety of materials and real and implied textures as
clothes, hair etc.
•color theory and monochromatic colors to create
backgrounds for an exhibit design concept
